AI Chat
The AI Chat is a conversational assistant that helps you with SEO strategy and metadata optimization. Access it from the Chat tab in the AI Assistant section of your dashboard.
Capabilities
- Ask about SEO strategy — get advice on how to improve your site's search engine performance.
- Request metadata changes — ask the AI to update a page's title, description, keywords, structured data, or indexing settings. Changes are applied directly.
- Manage Knowledge Base — tell the AI to remember important context (e.g., "Our target audience is small business owners") and it will save entries to your Knowledge Base. You can also ask it to remove entries.
- Page-specific context — optionally select a page to focus the conversation on. The AI will use that page's current metadata, content, and analytics when responding.
How to Use
- Open the AI Assistant tab in your dashboard and select Chat.
- (Optional) Select a page from the page dropdown to give the AI specific context.
- Type your message. Examples:
- "How can I improve the SEO for my homepage?"
- "Update the title for /about to 'About Our Company - Brand Name'"
- "Remember that our primary keyword focus is 'organic coffee beans'"
- "What keywords should I target for my blog posts?"
- The AI will respond with advice, recommendations, or confirmation of applied changes.
Actions
The AI can return several types of actions in its responses:
| Action Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Page updates | Direct changes to a page's SEO fields (title, description, keywords, etc.) |
| Learnings | New entries added to your Knowledge Base |
| Deletions | Knowledge Base entries removed |
When the AI suggests page changes, they are applied immediately. You can review all changes in the Activity Log.
Tips
- The more context you provide in your Knowledge Base, the better the AI's recommendations will be.
- Be specific in your requests. Instead of "make it better," try "write a more compelling meta description for /products that includes our brand name."
- Use page-specific context when asking about a particular page so the AI can reference its current metadata.
